Reconciliation Comunication Startegy
LPI with the cooperation with USIP started a project of Comunication staretgy for the national reconciliation project.
The objective of the project is to develop a tool of information sharing and being able to provide information to The Libyan citizen and otehrs about the projects achivement and challanges.
Youth
Peace- builders
This project is aimed to help youth in local municplites to understand about peace building and being trained to deliver Peace supporting project in their community with the help of LPI and parters.
The project will start by january 2025 and aiming to train more 25 peace builders for the first phase.
NATIONAL PEACE REPORT: LIBYA
Our institute authored a national peace report that analyzed the current state of peace and conflict in Libya. The report provided valuable insights into the dynamics of conflict and identified opportunities for peacebuilding interventions. It serves as a key resource for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners.
Women Peace Ambassedor
Create a platform where women affected by conflicts will share stories, talk about challenges and strategies to overcome those challenges.
To explore attitudes, social norms and structures that build a more peaceful society and strive to multiply these conditions among households.
The project is planned to start by March 2025.
Media and Peace
One day conference. Dialogue to promote community security and peace among public, private and independent media institutions, entities and individuals. the objective is to address potential opportunities for free flow of information with concerns how media platforms can become instruments of harmful content with a significant impact on conflict dynamics and peace.
The project is to aim an understanding scale and impact of harmful media content messages on social coherence & communities’ stability. and to support peace building narratives and initiatives through media promotion.
Empowering comunities
Develop multiplication system of local trainers of trainers, who can reach out within the communities to train and assist them in conflict resolution skills .
The approach is to assist and support a selective sample community with mediation skills, conflict Resolution techniques and restorative justice & peacebuilding measures. and to design pilot community participatory conflict Resolution techniques and peacebuilding measures model and to create training manuals as inputs for the multiplication system.
